Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I just made mashed potatoes, and undercooked the potatoes, but also added too much milk. So the good news is, it will be perfect tomorrow.

Did I send everyone free meals who wanted them?

Where's My Cow?

Though Sir Samuel's variant on the street population of Ankh-Morpork didn't get produced.

I made mashed potatoes tonight too and I underseasoned them. On the plus said I grilled in the rain and nailed my daughter's steak who requested medium well.

So far today, I've had about 10 minutes of time. However, I'm finally getting some time now which I'm going to use to learn Clojure since it's used at my new workplace in some places.

Part of the reason today was so busy is that we bought our daughter this: [link]

Well, technically we just made a deposit until financing is set up, but since we can buy it with cash if need be that's not really a potential problem. The only holdup with the financing is that I need some paystubs and I can't remember the last time I actually got a paystub. Have to call HR and figure out how one gets them. We have higher interest stuff to use that money on.

I salvaged the radio from her old car and, although it doesn't look it, it will fit in this one as well so she'll get her bluetooth, USB, Navigation, and backup camera.

This means my daughter's car will be five years newer than mine and have just a tad over 1/3 the miles my car has.

That's a nice choice, Gud! I hear people really love their Fits.

I'm doing beta for a friend, a Star Wars story, and I'd forgotten -- I'm good at this. Although it's a very long story...

She had an older Fit before, but it was totaled (not her fault).

Someone registered my e-mail for another dating service. Apparently, this person is named 'Christian'. First Match.com and now this one, what the hell? Doesn't any online dating service do e-mail verification?

Our wings are not tired.

Fits are great. My sister has had them her last few leases. She has a shedding shepherd that goes everywhere with her every day and she finds it easy to clean out. I was surprised it handles the serious snow and ice conditions she lives with so well.

My son & DIL are back from their Las Vegas adventures. They were sorry to miss the Grand Canyon, but the massive snow storm closed the road. They were more than delighted because they know they can return and see the canyon another time but the snow was a surprise treat. They were anxious to see me yesterday and give me my birthday present they brought back from Vegas. Let's just say it isn't sold legally in Florida. They amuse me.
