I scheduled a 15 minute resume review at the MA state job resource center, and called in sick today instead, since I just wasn't up to going over all that it lacks in hireability. I need a non-programmer job type resume so I should include my Lyft experience (also to make sure that I don't have an empty gap over the past few years) but I just couldn't face up to talking about it and how much can we get done in 15 minutes anyway.
Issues, I have a lot of them.
Well, I hope you feel better and I hope you get a chance to meet with them some time, Theo. That does sound hard, but maybe it will be more helpful than you expect. That happens.
Timelies all!
Managed to make it to work on time. Am very tired, though. Of course, that's probably because a) Gary got home from his trip at 1:30 am, b) I woke up again at 5:15 and couldn't fall back to sleep(stupid hamster brain) and c) since work was officially closed, the coffee place where I get chai lattes was closed. Ugh.
Time to play, what have I forgotten to put on my packing list...
toothbrush, meds, charging cords, travel pillow, snacks.
First three are on the list, don't need the rest. Loaded up my computer and Kindle with things to entertain me. Lyft is booked. Took the trash out, got a note to turn down the thermostats in the morning.
I have twice forgotten to pack my meds (or had them ready and didn't put them in the suitcase). You'd think once would have been enough to learn me.
Eh, shrift and I have roomed together long enough that she really doesn't care.
Kidding. On the list.
That's the thing I'm mostly likely to nearly forget, after chargers.
