David was awesome and brought me food and coffee (my precioussssss). I wasn't allowed food or water because the opioids made me puke, and they weren't sure if they'd need to do surgery. They did conscious sedation to try to splint them back in a leg-shaped shape, and then said I was ok to eat. Plan is to fly home tonight, stay at a friend's (because my house is full of stairs) and try to see an orthopedic surgeon tomorrow

Love the Buffistas rescue team. I am on the train to the airport home from NYC and was not murdered by my internet friend who was lovely and incredibly generous. The concert was kind of amazing. I messaged Casper a bunch during it and every other message was "this is a lot" and "wow." Also my bias sobbed like a baby at the end. They were so happy and proud.
Yay, food! I hope the trip home can be made comfortable, at least. Sending lots of recovery~ma!
Poor meara, she had such a nightmarish overnight in the ER.
Daystaff seemed to be nicer and more competent.
Yow, meara, that's a horrible way for a vacation to go. But I'm glad and grateful David was there, and JZ too, if needed. Easy trip home, quick treatment and speedy healing vibes sent your way.
Timelies all!
