Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Phew, -t! Finally.

I'm sure I also have my freshman facebook.

I did not get the freshman Facebook because I didn't realize it was a thing? And then I was kinda bummed I didn't.

MeganWalker, that sounds about right. And maybe I did have one and tossed it? I know I got pictures senior year at some point, but when they sent the proofs I was horrified because they caught me mid-blink and it looked like I was having a stroke or something. So I def didn't buy any of those!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

We had a "lookbook" freshman year. I remember that. And I vaguely remember getting pictures taken senior year, so maybe we did have a yearbook of sorts, though I still feel like it wasn't called that.

I had college yearbooks.

I need to find a sympathy card for my boss that also hits the jesus, life is complicated. Her widowed SIL (not sure of which flavor of in-law) died suddenly this weekend, leaving 3 kids under 18. They are the only local family, so yeah.

Oh my. That doesn't sound like any kind of easy time.

Our wings are not tired

My college had a yearbook. I still have mine here on a shelf.

Our wings are not tired.

Now I want to stop by our university library, because if they had yearbooks then DH would be in there as an athlete. If he has one I never noticed it.

Our wings are not tired.

Oh dear sarameg, how heartbreaking for those kids.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

My college had a yearbook, and my parents insisted I get photographed for it and bought me a copy my freshman year. This was in the early grunge period, and my parents were not best pleased to see me photographed in my favorite oversized flannel shirt. It was a head and shoulders shot—they would have been less pleased with the torn jeans I was also wearing at the time. A fact that didn't seem to cheer them up when I shared it with them. Anyway, there may have been more yearbooks, but not with me.
