Timelies all!
Yesterday was a day full of music. During the day we went to the FSGW mid-winter festival. Then Gary and I went to a friend's song circle while a babysitter looked after Mr. S.
Today is the usual supermarket run. No Super Bowl parties here, we're just watching it(well, the commercials) here.
Came here to write an amusing work related rant.
While writing it, subject of rant finally came to give me the answers I needed.

It has not been a good weekend. I started coming down with a cold Friday afternoon. Yeah, just a cold, but the kind with a fever and the works. Yesterday I was just out of it, spent most of the day asleep and had aches and chills. My wife is really angry with me for not doing anything around the house yesterday and apparently thinks I barely do anything the rest of the time which doesn't seem accurate (I'm the one who makes dinner, I usually do at least a load of dishes a day, I take care of the cars, I take care of paying bills, I take care of taxes, I usually the one who puts away laundry, I take out trash and recyclables...). She seemed really angry I didn't feel up to making dinner last night, but I'm not sure having someone sick make you dinner is a good call anyhow. I think I've started getting better but I have a lot of aches and pains this morning.
FFS, you're sick. You shouldn't be handling the food.
She should get off her lazy fucking ass and pick up the slack when her partner is ill.

Gud I'm glad you realize that you do most of the work and that she isn't accurate about claiming you don't do anything around the house.
She is lying about how much you do as a way to hurt you emotionally and also make you feel bad about yourself.
I could've ordered grocery delivery but like to choose my own stuff
