I vote yes, meara.
And also, if I do one thing, I have GOT to remember to go to the supermarket after work! I've been out of milk for days, but now I'm also out of coffee. Tomorrow will be a disaster if I forget again.
Caffeine is worth a try, meara! The rice bowl thing was fine. I wouldn't go out of my way to find it again, it's not that exciting, but nothing wrong with it.
Caffeine certainly can't hurt.
Mr. Blobby would give me nightmares as well. I don't think that guy was fake-cringing.
Timelies all!
It's been snowing all day. Luckily it's not sticking much to the roads. (The temperature is supposed to be in the 40s tomorrow, and the 50s on Sunday. I just don't know....)
I have been working very hard all day on various emergencies. Given that my sinuses are aching so much that I want to claw my face off, I think I'm going to head home early and work from my couch.
Jesse, go to the store!
Thank you! I did!!
I had no idea there were so many Canadian accents. Strong French, all-but-standard-broadcast-American, New Englandish, a little British, and odd pronunciation coming when I least expect it.
The lady judge on GCBBS has a terrible mid-atlantic accent that sounds like she's trying to do Kim Cattrall impression. I can't stand her. Season 2 is much better than season 1, BTW. And I think Bruno is from France. He's got a from France accent.
And that just sounds like the eastern part of Canada!
Dude, I can think of at least 7 distinct accents in NS alone! Some from just one town. Newfoundland, even crazier.
My friend was in rural Newfoundland with her Nova Scotian husband and they stopped at a Tim Horton's and before they went in she said to him, "Just let me do all the talking because they won't understand you and you won't understand them."
