Xander: I do have Spaghetti-os. Set 'em on top of the dryer and you're a fluff cycle away from lukewarm goodness. Riley: I, uh, had dryer-food for lunch.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

had a guy from Newfoundland or Prince Edward Island in my car (I forget which one now) and the regional accent sounds more Scottish to my ears than anything else

Well, PEI is spitting distance from Nova Scotia, so.

My favorite encounter with a Canadian accent was when I heard a perfect rendition of Moira Rose's voice (Catharine O'Hara on Schitt's Creek) behind me at the farmer's market in rural Western Ontario last summer. I'd suspected the fictional town was based on that part of the world, and now I have proof!

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

A commenter on one of the stories thought that was ridiculous, your lungs couldn't possibly sieze up and kill you if you're trying to breathe heavily in sub-zero air. I laughed at him. I imagine other people would be laughing at him now.

Has no one watched Wind River?

Hah! This is what I get for just reading the last few messages.

ETA: And I agree, it is

such a good movie, so sad it didn't get proper appreciation

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Anyone want to get my work done for me today? No? Hmph.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh thank god, I finally pulled the trigger on something I've been screwing around with all week. Maybe it's not what it needs to be, but at least now is someone else's turn to tell me that instead of just mine.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Jesus, the telemarketing calls are especially relentless today. I just ignored #5, and I think they're all from the same people who've been calling all week, and whose numbers I've already blocked twice.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I got 19 calls on my work cell phone from Burundi last weekend.
