(Has anyone here ever played around with The Sims? She was almost all the female voices of the first few iterations and co-created the language. If you've ever played in that world, you know her voice. Or some of her voices. She was so fucking absurdly gifted.)

Damn it, I wish I was actually active in the Sims community and not just a player. I keep thinking that someone letting someone in that community know about the GFM for her mom would help a lot.

I keep thinking of things I was going to do and help her with and oh god we were supposed to get together over the holidays because she loved baking spice breads for the homeless people in the neighborhood and wanted me to come over and help and I didn't, I could have had one more visit in that tiny postage stamp kitchen drinking too much coffee and getting loopy and stupid and doing something worthwhile and I didn't.
