I got a shit ton of things off my desk today. Some of it old filing I keep putting off, but also a good pile of invoices and matching paperwork to other paperwork which is easy, but time consuming and had made my desk a mess for weeks. YAY!! and now it is Friday and mac is failing a class again and I have to go to a stupid meeting tomorrow and I kinda hate everything, but it's FRIDAY!
My house did not get magically clean while I was at work and elves did not come in and cook or bake while I was gone. Rather than do those things myself I think I'll read in a book tonight and go to bed early.
Presumably, since the shutdown is ended, my mother will get to Austin for the surgery next week, which is good, because I think I've got a cold and probably shouldn't be around someone post-op.
I've got a cold and my electric blanket isn't working. Not even cheese can fix this.

I'm at Rush. Mostly bored and waiting at this point. But I was having chest tightness and trouble breathing in the cold air so...not sure how these next few weeks will go.
