Ugh. I have a migraine, so I've called in sick to work, and I suspect I'll need to go to urgent care for an IV cocktail, except I don't know if our HSA card is working yet, and I can just go and submit for reimbursement, but that's a pain in the ass that the fucking HSA card is supposed to simplify.

And husband is incredibly stressed with his new job, because the two people he manages are insane in different ways, and he's seriously about one really bad day away from quitting, which I totally support because it's that bad, but then that leaves me, again, as the one responsible for the money, and more importantly, the fucking health insurance.

And his stress is contagious, because stress is, and it's approaching the point of not even being fucking safe to fly anymore because of the fucking shutdown, and he has a business trip next week, and my mother is flying to be with my brother and his partner because his partner has finished chemo and is having the mastectomy, except if she can't fly for whatever reason, I need to drive there and be there for them, and I'm totally fine with that, but I'd rather have things planned out than having to adjust on the fly.

Wow, my head hurts.

Sara went through this at two different stages (10 months or so, and then at three and a half). There's not a lot you can do about it, except be calm and reassuring, and don't force any interaction. It'll pass eventually.
