You know, my big sister could really beat the crap out of her. I mean, really really.

Our wings are not tired.

Picked up DH and brought him home. He was most impressed with my efforts while he was gone. Also, he must have gotten vibes from Natter discussion because you will be amused by the gift he brought me back from his trip. A super nice illuminated keyboard and programmable cool mouse. Ha! Pretty sure he doesn't lurk.

Difficult morning, but I think I'll be ready for a technical interview at eleven.

Are interviews like oral exams for other professions too?

Our wings are not tired.

Today is the rough day. My nephew's sentencing hearing. We will all be there for him. My BIL is a mess. Nephew just wants the waiting to be over so he knows how long he will be in prison and can mentally deal with it. No way of knowing if judge will treat him as a juvenile offender or not. New judge is straight out of the prosecutor's office and buds with the prosecutor. Mostly I'm hoping he gets sent to a better facility and not with bad ass hardened adult types. He is the polar opposite of bad ass. Also, whatever the outcome I hope the victim's family can have some peace and closure. They need some finalization too. Although, they still have their civil case in progress. Ugh. Anyway, ~ma for all would be appreciated.

While sending out the ~ma, some for my sister too. She had to put her cat down yesterday and is in very rough shape over it.

Thanks. This is the first time I've interviewed for a government job.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oof, Laura. Best thoughts to the whole family.

Contacted a couple more companies about jobs. One I've heard is interested but can't connect me for legal reasons, the other I'm basically trying to get to create a job for me or turn a non-remote position into a remote one. That's kind of a long shot, but who knows, I have some very specific experience that probably isn't easy to find.

Librarian Warlord

A law librarian interview in academia is generally a full day. At my level, generally two. It's a marathon, and involves a lot of people who want a say but have no idea what they actually need in a librarian. (OHIFACULTY)

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Laura, thinking about you and your family today.

Gud, I'm cheering you on from the sidelines!
