Our wings are not tired.

I'm sorry, Theo. She really should understand that it isn't a flexible obligation.

Ugh, Gud. I take it related to the ongoing politics. I hope it turns out better than expected.

Can you go home, sarameg?

I should be working, and yet.

I AM home. No way in hell I was going into the office today. But I have a shitton to do. Like this meeting in 7 minutes.

Something totally different. The politics is annoying, but not all that important.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Ugh, I'm sorry for everyone having a tough time.

I am stressed by proxy because my husband is stressed with his job. and he's not good at thinking through ways to alleviate his stress. Plus, new insurance to start the year, so we needed to find a new optometrist and make sure the dentist has the new information and next week I have an appointment with the psych and the pharmacy needed the new insurance and I needed a PA for my migraine medicine, but my doctor insisted it had to come from the pharmacy, so I had to request a refill...

Greatest country in the world, right?

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

The Brexit agreement just got crushed in the House of Commons. I wonder how long it will take for May to resign and/or elections to be called.

Our wings are not tired.

It would be nice if any solution to the Brexit situation existed, but I haven't seen any presented yet. Well, that don't involve a timelord anyway.

I was supposed to go to 'the big game' tonight with DH where his undefeated HS team plays against another powerhouse undefeated team. Unfortunately this morning we got word that the game was changed from an evening game to 3:30 this afternoon. It is the reason that is particularly upsetting. Too many recent incidents of gun and knife violence at games in Palm Beach County. Police officials decided it would be safer to change the game to immediately after school to cut down on outside people who could make it there. It's an away game for us so our kids have to leave early. Now I am worried because I rather expect our kids to win handily because they are that good and I don't want the home team's fans to hurt anyone.

They will have security. Actually last game one of the security people went to wave DH past as a coach, and he said no that there should be no exceptions when it came to safety, including the principal. So, you know some safety ~ma would be appreciated. Many of the incidents have been parking lot stuff too.

Oh! Maxpreps gives me live updates on the score at least. I'll see if someone is streaming, but haven't seen it yet. Our team has a 17-0 record and they have 9-0 basically because we have been in more tournaments. 8A game, which means huge schools.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I saw. 432 to 202 I believe, and over 100 Tories voted with the opposition. They were calling it a historic vote margin—nothing like it since ~1920. Tomorrow's the vote of no confidence, so that'll be fun (for people who aren't Theresa May). I was watching the video on The Guardian, and if the PM could have set people on fire with her mind, I strongly suspect she would have.

Oh! The game is live streaming on FB. Nearly empty stands at what would have been a sold out game.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Over the past few years -- it's the end of the world as we know it, and I feel sick to my stomach.
