Angel: Connor, this is Spike and Illyria. Guys, this is Connor. Connor: Hi. umm...I like your outfit. Illyria: Your body warms. This one is lusting after me. Connor: Oh...no, I--I--it's just that it's the outfit. I guess I've had a thing for older women. Angel: They were supposed to fix that.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I wonder how many disputed charges they get!

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

I had a charge I didn't recognize this month. The description was Independent Bookstore, with a phone number I didn't know. Googled the number to find it was ther American Booksellers Association, or something like that. I had purchased a book from a mystery bookstore, so I assumed that was the charge, but that was a really vague description.

Lots of snow here in KC. Enough that we haven't had power since 1:00pm yesterday. No idea when it will come back. Power company estimates about Tuesday for everyone to have power back.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Just spent an hour outside trying to lure in a stray dog, only to find two more stray dogs in this same area. UGH. got a trap set for the littlest one and now some other people are there with a bigger trap. Hopefully at least one of them can get caught tonight. It was a high of about 37 here today which is way too cold.

The area they are in is a large empty lot with a church at one end, but the whole area is surrounded by houses. Seems unlikely that none of them are aware that there are stray dogs there. The city it is in does not answer any animal calls on Sunday so is of no help.

Poor doggies. Hope you are able to help them.

one of the ladies who showed up to help just kept doing things that spooked them all away from this lot. She seemed convinced she could just walk up and leash them. so frustrating.

The lady who lent the small trap has my #, so if the little one is trapped I can take him for the night until the city shelters are open tomorrow.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Lots of snow here in KC. Enough that we haven't had power since 1:00pm yesterday. No idea when it will come back.

Total here was 7". Lost power yesterday at 2 p.m., restored at about 2 a.m. KCP&L outage map does not do a good job of keeping up with the repair progress, it lags well behind.

Streets here are in pretty good shape, I don't anticipate any problems for my commute to downtown tomorrow.

Are you planning to commute tomorrow yourself, or WFH, or take a day off?

WFH. Yeah, streets seem fine. Just limbs down all over the place where.

Our wings are not tired.

Yikes, on both the poor doggos and the lack of power and abundance of snow.

Do you have a generator for the essential stuff?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Yikes, on both the poor doggos and the lack of power and abundance of snow.

All of this.
