Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I'm gonna blame senior management

Always.

How is it not even 5pm here? It feels so much later!! And yet possibly at midnight I'll be like "oh shoot I was going to sleep...".

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Hear, hear!

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Do you have a writer embedded with each scrum team, lisah?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I did not get my plastic rectangle today either, Tom.

Boo.

Tis the season for plastic rectangles! (Funnily enough, I had ordered new ones too, but to add customization so they're a little less open to fraud in person-doesn't help the online much. But I also just wanted to see those pictures more. Credit took a week from shipped notice to arrival. Debit arrived same day as shipping notice. I think wires got crossed.)

We'd have a murder if docu went into a dev& test scrum cycle. Official, deliverable driven by a whole different schedule not determined by us + we have no writers. Internal docs, well...

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

GOOD MORNING, NATTER!

Librarian Warlord

Well, someone's coffee is working this morning.

I have been to Trader Joes and back, given the dog a romp with her best friend, fed the girl and set her up to nurse her cold from the couch with tea and honey, and sent the fellow up to B'more to pick up our skis. We are all sort of hoping the gymnastics meet we have tonight gets cancelled so the girl can just keep nursing her cold.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Snow started here late yesterday. Wet roads on the interstate driving home, a little slushy on the side streets, but not a bad commute. By this morning I had 4.25 inches on my deck rail. [link]

Unusual for this area, there has been little wind and the temperatures have stayed close freezing or just above. No drifts, no icicles. Streets wet but not icy.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Sparky, how old is the girl now? I'm almost afraid to ask. I hope she's feeling better soon.
