"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Tea: It's very quiet today. TCG has today off because he had so many after work meetings this week. So he is ferrying ltc to and from school and to her hair appointment today, and I'm being a complete sloth.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

My body is not wanting to today.

The pollen I am most allergic to has been high the last week. Temps dropped and rain came in over night which makes my fibromyalgia worse. Plus the multiple threats of gun violence that were made this week at mac's School. Sleep and hiding is all my brain and body want.

But I am trudging though because boss is supposedly coming in today and I should have everything through today run and posted by end of day so pay can be submitted early Monday.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I'm impatiently waiting for the mail because my new credit card should be in it (if y'all haven't signed up for USPS informed delivery, you really should do it), and I need to go to Trader Joe's because the snowpocalypse is forecast for the weekend. I do actually need milk, but not bread.

msbelle, we had a lot of rain this week. So, I've been hurting all over, and then my fall at the bookstore made it worse. I'm going to take a long bath with epsom salt when TCG leaves to pick up ltc to school and see if that helps.

Our wings are not tired.

Yay for slothiness! I've become very fond of the Whole Foods prime delivery stuff. I ordered home delivery of my ingredients for the Christmas meal cooking because I couldn't bear the thought of the parking lots at the local Trader Joe's or Whole Foods. It was so easy and convenient that I have used it several times since then. It takes me back to my days living in Pittsburgh when I had routine grocery delivery. I am so happy to pay a delivery person to assemble and deliver my groceries.

I hope the bath helps, sj. It is good to have TCG home today to give you a break.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I'm still waiting for my new credit card to arrive. It's been over a week.

I'm still waiting for my new credit card to arrive. It's been over a week.

Oooh, small plastic rectangles audit!

My new debit card has also not arrived yet AND that's a huge pain in the ass.

Other recent plastic rectangles:

1. Received new insurance cards for kids and fam because we changed plans. Emmett will be swinging by this weekend to collect his because HE'S AN ADULT and needs to have his own damn card. (Even though he's still on our plan because he's in college.)

2. Received small plastic rectangle that allows us to pay for medical things from our FSA account. Mostly useful when I go to the pharmacy to pick up an order for JZ.

3. Williams-Sonoma gift card burning a hole in my wallet. Must get new omelette pan!

4. Matilda's student Clipper Card (allowing her free travel on Muni) has replaced saving us lots of money since she's on Muni twice a day to and from school.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I am on the phone trying to get a copy of the plastic rectangle with our HSA money on it. It is going very slowly. Yes, just a second card. Because we are two people who are not always in the same place at the same time. Telling me when the card was sent is not useful, because it's already here. I just want another one. Not a new one, just another one. Yes, in my name. Because I am a separate person.

Coding and Sleeping

I think I've collected too many Lego™-ish tanks.

I have a Britsh Matilda II, Cromwell, Churchill, Mark I Heavy, and Grant (American M3 used by the Britsh); an American M1A1 Abrams, and M4A1 Sherman; a Soviet T34/85 and KV-1; a German Tiger, Panther, Stug III, and Panzer IV; a French FT-17 and Somua S-35; and a Czech Skoda LT-38 (a very cute tank). It's time to stop... unless they come out with a French Char-B1 Bis, because I would have to have a Char-B1 Bis.
