Giles: Stop that, you two. Riley: He started it... Xander: He called me a bad name! I think it was bad; it might have been Latin.

Other than that, Dublin has stores.

True. And I already unearthed the correct plug adapters from the pile o' plug adapters, so I'll probably be fine. I'm working from home tomorrow, so I'll just do laundry tonight and go to bed early.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Asexual murderers.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Killers whose weapon of choice is Nitro-9.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

OK, how about an asexual WWI pilot who is also kickass reporter is embroiled in a murder and must investigate to clear his (I suppose her would be a stretch for WWI) name.

Don't pack at all, buy everything there, expense it all, shrift. It's a foolproof plan.

Disclaimer: I have been seized by a strong urge to read Nietzsche, my views are suspect. I may very well just want to hug a horse and cry.

I am mostly having a great time with my friends—came over after my work meetings yesterday and they made dinner and their house is amazing and today I worked from their living room and one of them made me oatmeal with fruit and nuts cooked into it for breakfast and I had lasagna for lunch and they made clams and chorizo and linguine for dinner...they're so fancy! And then we went dancing and they had a good time (they're dancing friends but hadn't been to the thing we went to, before, and I had).

The bad is that I seem to have a uti which is uncomfortable. But I was able to have a video phone call doctor appointment (though it was $40!) and get a prescription and go to the drug store. So I'm hoping I'll feel better tomorrow. I also got the other meds that help but they didn't feel as miraculous this time so I don't know what's going on. But I hate feeling sick when not at home.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Hope you feel better ASAP and have more fun, meara!

Man, I slept like shit. So I'm at work early with extra coffee and am hoping for the best. Luckily, it's a short day because our new president's inauguration is this afternoon, so I just have to sit for that. After that? Party!! zzzzzzz

I'm here for that.

I am flying to New York tonight to go to a k-pop concert with a friend from the internet I haven't met yet, and Casper's continuing attitude towards me meeting friends from the internet remains hilarious. This morning's gems included, "Mom, if Chuck [her nickname for my internet friend] turns out to actually be a guy who is catfishing you, and you end up murdered, just know that I loved you."

ION there was an anti-Kavanagh demonstration going on in front of the courthouse downtown last night as I was leaving work. I mean, this is Cincinnati, OH! Neither very demonstrate-y nor very liberal, tbh.

That is awesome. Is she not interested in meeting internet axe murderers yet?

Our wings are not tired.

Aww, flea. Know that we loved you too.

Had adventure this morning. I never lock my door, but somehow managed to accidentally lock it. First thing this morning my dumb dog managed to get her lead stuck around a tree in the yard so I had to go outside to untangle her. It's in the 30s outside and I have on thin inside pants, a sweatshirt, and crocs. Locked out. I walk next door to step dad's and he isn't home. Consider going to another neighbor's house, but my phone is inside, and heaters are on and so forth.

So, I got a concrete block and a sawhorse from the shed and managed to open a kitchen window and climbed through an opening of maybe 14". The most uncomfortable moment was when I was half in and half out and inadvertently kicked over the sawhorse, knowing the option of being stuck half way for hours was an option. But I managed to drop into the kitchen! And none of my neighbors had to be exposed to my morning hair wacky outfitted self.

Now I am tucked under a blanket warming up. Still only mid 50s inside the house!
