Shit's all sorts of different now.

I would LOVE a Nilly Zoom!!

Good morning, by Buffistas. I have showered, had (having) coffee, and am getting ready for another day of virtual teaching.

I'm exhausted already. And with the Big Move to our new house happening in a few weeks and my side gig starting before the end of the month, I'm on a trajectory to never rest again.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

Woke up two hours early, couldn't get back to sleep. Thanks, covid.

Thrive to spite them

Being a hermit by nature and also dealing with trauma and anxiety etc definitely has become a plus . I am much better suited towards this than my more outgoing, better adjusted to normal life co workers.

It also means I have skills for this. One thing I learned in my DBT therapy is that a lot our bad coping skills that cause problems started out as useful ones. They served a purpose but then things changed and they became a negative. I'm starting to feel like some of this negative coping mechanisms are coming back around to useful ones.

What is this big move and side gig??

Clarified with my ER doc friend that our tday plan with my folks is to eat outside on their porch and she gave us the ok to do that.

That's good news, lisah. I'm glad you'll be able to see them!

What's your side gig going to be, if you feel like sharing, Aims?

About to pour my coffee. Apartment maintenance is coming by all the units today to do random checking/tinkering. Blergh. Strangers in my home. Eh. Whatever. They've always been very nice. I just... they're visiting every unit. Masks can only do so much, and I'm paranoid. I should probably just go out, but Matt has to stay to work anyway, so I can't really avoid contact 100%.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Woke up two hours early, couldn't get back to sleep. Thanks, covid.

I had the flip side of that -- could not fall asleep until after 3, maybe closer to 4. Not real happy about being awake now.

Our wings are not tired.

I keep catching up, and starting to post, and then get distracted. Oh normalcy, how I miss you.

Wrote to the siblings and asked them what they thought about a mini T'day meal outside. I think it will be fine. My brother is generally lax and irresponsible about his health, but my sister has been ultra-safe. He doesn't actually go anywhere anymore except work because his mobility is limited, and probably thinks Covid is a hoax because he loves conspiracy theories, but he will keep to his end of the table because he loves his sisters.

eta: I do kinda like that the board doesn't announce that I had to edit a couple times to correct stuff.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

This might belong in Streaming, BUT I figured you could use a little something cheerful: new Netflix show about dog dancing and other, um, niche competitions.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Maybe I'm amazed.
