I'm going to drag myself into the pool and swim. Did 1-1/2 hours (72 laps) yesterday. Today might be longer. Don't think olympic laps, this is a home pool! But ya know, lots of swimming. It's distracting because I keep count.

If the "Seen by" links on FB are trustworthy, Tom has seen both smonster and Hec's posts (and I think Trudy posted above), but reaching out is certainly a kindness that would be very much appreciated, I bet.
Is it weird to be glad that it sounds like a heart attack and not COVID? I don't know, I couldn't really sleep, so the world is strange right now.
I don't think so. At least with that it was probably sudden and didn't involve nearly as much suffering. I'd certainly pick "didn't happen at all" if given the choice, but any mercy and grace is precious these days.
