Like all of us I am stunned so much time has passed. We’ve spent the summer wanting to get this year over, get past the election, get past the pandemic. Just putting one foot in front of the other.

Ed was my age and always kind to me. He spent some time talking to #1 son a decade ago when he expressed an interest in being a Chemist.

I see it is Sumi’s birthday today. I’ll try and reach her via FB as she is an infrequent online presence and the email I have is old.

I have accomplished a thing! We have a new user, who probably won't even lurk or post, but I told him about our deal so Brendon is now a registered user. I'll have to ask him to post once so I can see his number! He chose the name BigOwl, so I'll share the reason. When he was coaching t-ball the little kids had a hard time saying his name as Coach Al, and it came out Owl and they called him big owl. It stuck. Anyway, he knows if I can't post because I ran away to a tropical island or my fingers aren't working he is to let you know. Many of you know him so not a stranger. Also, a way to test and see if the registration works now!

Is it weird to be glad that it sounds like a heart attack and not COVID? I don't know, I couldn't really sleep, so the world is strange right now.

I'm stunned to hear the news about DX. It's such a shock, especially for it to take so long to find out.

Lots of people here having major troubles right now. I'm so sorry for all of you. This has been a terrible year for so many.
