Zoe: What's that, sir? Mal: Freedom, is what. Zoe: No, I meant what's that? Mal: Oh. Yeah. Just step around it. I think something must've been living in here.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Thanks Dana.

Fuck this year.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I have enough meatspace/b.org overlap that I have no doubt the board would be informed if something were to happen to me. But I agree with, Hec.

Punishingly Intricate

So sad.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

MedicGuy is FB friends with some of you and knows to let the board know if something happens. I reiterated that to him tonight.

(Feel free to friend him if you come across him. He’s one of us—without ever having seen Buffy or Angel—but he won’t join here unless it’s an emergency, to give me a space of my own. Just another reason why I love him.)

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Oh Ed. Oh no.

I’m assuming that probably Vortex would know, or my friend F (who we had thanksgiving wth Kristin and drew one year and was in Mexico with me and Brenda and her sis) would tell fb folks.

But yes, I feel awful that so much time had passed before we realized. But pandemic time has been weird, and I swear he was just posting in a thread the other day. Except the other day was apparently six months ago?

What is even happening?

This is the last post by DX, that I could find in Natter. [link]

I didn't look in other threads. Going through Natter and wondering if every post was the last one was too sad.

That’s only a day before he died. Looks like it was (as it always is, of course) sudden.

Herding cats for fun

Oh man, not DX. This is really hard to take.

Are we about ready for a Buffista Memorial Grove to remember and honor our late friends?

What is even happening?

I can't see the tribute page Daniel linked. Ed's obituary is here, for anyone in the same boat. [link]
