Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Cindy, thanks for being the list wrangler.

Punishingly Intricate

Matt, I'm so sorry about your kitty.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

Dana, I'm taking that you mean add DX to the list of people who know. I have, so if I'm wrong, let me know.

Sorry, I wasn't clear. I think we should add him to the list of people who we haven't heard from.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I am heartbroken for amyth -- and Calli, and smonster, and KateP and all of you who are so close to amyth, and everyone who loves her, which is a huge group of people to have her kindness, caring, joy, fannishness, and love touch their lives so directly.

JenP, You said so much of what I was thinking. It's funny how this place works. I had a brief conversation with her at one F2F that because of this magic place was deep and real. Even though I don't know Amyth very well, she has this sweet special place in my heart. I love her.

Cash, what horrible, tragic news. I'm so sorry. I hate that no words can do justice here.

smonster, I want to throw heavy boots at that supervisor. That is sucky leadership.

Matt, I'm so sorry to hear about Little Britches. It just hurts.

(I don't know if they're still a couple; I have no reason to think not, I just don't know.)

We stay together for the cats.

And ya know, we do kinda love each other.

What is even happening?

I figured, WindSparrow, but I didn't want to presume. What if one of you had taken the cats to live in Hawaii? I didn't want the other one who was battling through another cold midwestern winter to bear the burden of telling the island living cat thief.

Fixing now, Dana.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

2020 hasn't done sucking yet. I really do think that if the collective-we can get through the end of the year, it will get better.

In a tiny bit of not-sucky news, the COVID results came back for the full staff of the assisted living residence and we were all negative. There will be random testing every two weeks going forward. Doesn't seem like enough, but it's the best they can arrange for, I guess.

I appreciate your sensitivity, Cindy. Sometimes love is not so much about the warm fuzzy feelings as it is about how well a person resists the temptation to put a pillow over their beloved's face and hold it down until they stop struggling.

And Oh Em Gee, Hawaii is starting to sound good.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Little Britches (which might be the most adorable pet name I've ever heard)

I can't take credit, he came with name included when my neighbor had to give him up. Obviously, renaming him something different was never an option.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I've been around here and FB. Just haven't figured out what to say.
