Not really - what I really want to do is go out for dim sum, see a Broadway show and then go out for karaoke in the evening, and none of that is an option this year. So another pleasantly quiet night in with the family it is!
Happy birthday, Jessica! i hope there’s cake.

All of a sudden at work a lot of people are in my space about my first non-COVID related project which had a due date of mid-November. That is NOT last Tuesday OR today, it is Monday, so no, the project is not complete. I still hope against hope it will be complete by Monday (it will not). Too many parts of it are out of my control and people are not getting back to me, so....
Amy-thee and Amy-Chee for me.
Happy Birthday, Jessica!
TCG and I have been married 10 years today!
Happy anniversary!
One of my cousins in TX has tested positive for COVID. He has "moved" into a travel trailer by his house since they have no guest room and his wife and three kids are isolating for 2 weeks.

Happy anniversary!
Happy birthday, Jessica! May you get compensatory dim sum, with interest, the very second it's available, but your family is a pretty good consolation prize.
Happy anniversary, sj! You and TCG and his first-date gift are some of my favorite things in the world.
Team (possibly a team of one) Amy-chuh, A Myth, Ask Ye (in a Faire accent, like "I ask ye good gentles all, doth that sound fair to ye?")
{{{Calli}}} I knew you were friends and neighbors, but I hadn't realized what a loving, supportive community you had built around you.
Like The Good Place said: "It's just having enough time with the people you love.”
This.
It's early morning and I'm getting ready for work and drinking First Coffee at my mom's place in Reno, mask ready for the moment she steps out of her room. Her new cat, a 5 or 6 year old Oakland girl rehomed from a crowded home with too many other cats and toddlers, is somewhere prowling around and just happily owning the place. She's still not used to being in a home where she has all her human's attention, there's always a lap, and every nook and cranny and corner is hers and nobody will ever hiss and snarl her out of it or try to grab her tail.
