I'm amazingly not hearing that much because I haven't been driving a lot. And I surely don't go to malls.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Thanks, but no thanks. I'm going to sit here happily in my "we don't even have a mall" non-radio bubble.
(One day I'll be on b.org long enough not to have to google LDB every year. Not this year, though. I just keep forgetting).
I can't remember hearing the Wham song, which means I may be out or not -- Schrodinger time, indeed. But I'm still playing for LDB, despite being in several venues where Xmas songs are run incessantly.
Last year I got LDB'd as I passed a cigar bar that had music piped outside. Recently, a columnist posted a list of the worst 10 of 100 seasonal songs ... LDB was #100 (lower/worse than Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer).

I really dislike LDB, but it's not worse than Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer. That columnist is sadly mistaken.
Yeah, I have heard some really nice versions of LDB, never of Grandma Got Run Over.
To be fair, I do think the Bing Crosby-David Bowie version is kind of lovely.
Timelies all!
I'm out of Whamageddon, too. With Xmas music playing in the lab every day, it's not a surprise. I'm not sure if I've heard the original, but I've definitely heard a cover.
I haven't been listening to much Christmas music. They don't play it at work I haven't gone many places besides work and I avoid the 2 radio stations that have gone 24/7 Christmas. One before Thanksgiving
