Our wings are not tired.

My mom died a few days before the 2016 election assuming that Clinton was going to be president. I've often thought it was good she never knew what happened. There are a number of Republicans that I have thought of and had a bit of gratitude that they didn't live to see what happened to the Republican party, including my dad. And yes, there are too many that I wish were here to celebrate with us today.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Apparently everyone on my street came out to cheer and bang pots and etc., but I was out! So many people driving around honking and walking around "whoo!"ing and biking around cheering and etc. It is very enjoyable being in a blue bubble, as usual.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Today is one of those days when I miss living in DC.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

One deluded fool commented on my fb post of "I'm a Republican. Who did I hurt?" Oh chuckles, you picked the wrong day and the wrong person to ask that of. Because while I limited myself to one reply, there are a WHOLE lot of people who will also jump in with clue bats.

Our wings are not tired.

One of my 'friends' posted some crap about the Republicans not burning down cities because they are unhappy. I unfollowed her. I don't need to see such things. I'll just stay in my blue bubble.

“Not dead yet!”

Yeah, I had to block one this morning after the “You guys—the media calling it doesn’t actually mean anything. HOLD THE LINE!”

And I was like “Line? What line? Y’all *lost*.”

Then I had the dude on Twitter who was all “Bet the Dems don’t want to abolish the Electoral College now!”

Me: Um...oh hell yes, Skippy, we sure as shit do, because if not for the EC, this shitshow would’ve been over Tuesday night.

DP's mom called us with the news this morning before we had logged in to the world. There were delayed reaction tears of relief at the feeling of being able to breathe again a few minutes after the call.

Negative results ~ma your toddler's way, Gris.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I really wasn't that worried by Thursday, but it's shocking how relaxed I've been all day.
