And I wonder, what possible catastrophe came crashing down from heaven and brought this dashing stranger to tears?

My dog woke me up at 445 to use the bathroom. Fine. Went back to bed. Dog barrows at 6. And 620. We went out again. No dice. Dog wanted to play. Kept barking. And now it’s almost 8am, dog has been silent for 20 min but I am wide awake. Grrrrr.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I just thought to check how my county’s vote counting was going. Only about 1,000 ballots left. 76% turnout!

Looking like 67% D and 30% R, so that’s pleasant. I wouldn’t say I’m comfortable with 30% of anyone being ok with fascism but it’s not a surprising proportion.

In person day of voting was 55% R which is interesting.

I kept waking up throughout the night for no apparent reason. Just enough to be irritated with myself, really.

Around 5,000 people must have voted for Biden for pres but against our incumbent D Representative in person (these smaller numbers are easier to think about). I’m not sure how to feel about that.

The race for the second seat (it was a “vote for 2” ballot) on my city council is very close! 14 vote difference as of COB yesterday. I don’t even know how that works, what is needed to be decisive. Anyway, my neighbor who I do not want to win (because he’s the former police chief, not because of anything personal) is in the lead.

OMG I’ll stop. Sorry about that.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

In ten minutes, the orange idiot is supposed to hold a press conference...at a landscaping company?

I don’t know what to do with that information. This timeline is broken.

CBS is saying Biden is the winner. God, I hope they planned it to disrupt Trump's press conference.
