I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Dear lord, Cindy. My poor precious eyes! That was taken so much too far it achieved its own bizarro perfection

You've got friends to have good times with. When you need to share the trauma of a badly-written book with someone, that's when you go to family.

5.30, late enough, it is time for a Charlie Pie. If any of you are looking around for a weekly cocktail newsletter that does not require going out and buying 50 new bottles before you can make anything, I'm happy with this one; there is an accompanying Spotify playlist.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

There were some excellent choices in the video Cindy foisted on our poor eyes. And some regrettable ones, but mostly it made me laugh in demented disbelief, which after a week like this one is a good good thing.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

there is an accompanying Spotify playlist.

Oooh, Parker, that's a great playlist!

This drink does not go with tacos. Welp, I don't have beer or tequila in the house, I'm not opening the prosecco until AP's called it, this pinkish boozy thing it is.

Isn't the playlist great? None of them have been terrible, but this one is really working for me tonight.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I laughed about ltc for about five minutes. Bless her. Those skills are going to serve her well.

We had a complete meltdown about elearning tonight. I saw it coming in slow motion like a train wreck as DH and our youngest were discussing a algebra test that needed to be taken by tonight.

The problem is that DH jus looks at the work as a black and white issue—it needs to be done so just do it. But the offspring are anxious, and stressed and at least one is ADD as well as other issues going on.

The LEAST productive thing you can do is trying to suss out WHY they are NOT doing the work when they NEED TO DO THE WORK RIGHT AWAY!

But nooooooooooo...I am a goddamn psychologist and referee and I hates it.

Do we know who’s president yet?

What is even happening?

NO WE DO NOT, Lisa.

Biden is supposed to be speaking soon though, and he keeps accumulating votes in PA, putting him way over Agent Orange (and above 270).

Remember how when Mueller (ptui) released his report (ptui), and Barr (ptui) decided to frame as an exoneration, which it so was not, and by doing so, he managed to convince 2/3rds of the country that Trump-Russia was a nothing-burger?

I think Biden should just start saying he's won, and as President-Elect, he'll blah blah blah fishcakes. Just speak it into being, Joe. Convince people it's a done deal.

Dooooooooo it.

See, JZ. Don't listen to me. Listen to Teppy, -t, and Theodosia. They put the Ts in the triumvirate of taste.

I don’t think I’ve ever been in a triumvirate of taste before. I will cherish this memory!

I'm quite sure I haven't! I'm dizzy with the honor!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Do we know who’s president yet?

We definitely know, but they won't call it yet.
