And a book is always a non-offensive gift, unless it's about, like, Hitler or something. They don't take up too much room, they don't go bad, they're relatively inexpensive, i.e. the perfect gift to give.

Pretty sure I got my uncle a book about Hitler! Well, no, a book about WWII spies, so still non-offensive, and possibly a compulsory gift for a 70ish white man?
