You know, I've saved lives. Dozens. Maybe hundreds. I reattached a girl's leg. Her whole leg. She named her hamster after me. I got a hamster. He drops a box of money, he gets a town.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Yeah, I can't believe he would ever concede. Flee in the night, maybe.

Coding and Sleeping

It’s been 2 weeks since ER visit. No bills yet.

IME, it can take quite a bit of time. Once, I got a notice from a collection agency before I got a bill. Though that wasn't from the hospital. That bill was from the physicians group for the out-of-network doctor (nurse practitioner actually) that saw me in the in-network ER. I calculated that I was charged $3,000 an hour.

Healthcare billing is so bizarre and nonsensical. Two weeks is nothing, msbelle. Sorry to say.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

It's November, and we haven't received a single bill for Tim's heart surgery in January. When he checked in to the hospital that day, he did pay a co-pay of... $500, I think. But that cannot possibly be all he'll end up having to pay. Or else his company's health insurance is unfuckingbelievably top-notch.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I realize there's a thread for this, but does someone want to tell me what's going on with Supernatural??

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Heh. Short version from a non-watcher who saw this all go down on Twitter:

Castiel, the angel, told Dean that he loved him. Unfortunately, he'd made a deal kind of like Angel (the vampire), where as soon as he was happy, he'd die. So...he died.

I haven't looked at Twitter this morning, to see how the situation has inevitably mutated overnight.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

It has mutated to have something to do with Putin??? I realize I could do my own googling on this.

I somehow didn't realize SPN was actually airing episodes again...oops. Well, now I have a reason to catch up

OMG one of my salespeople has his standardized .sig set up so that it says "Error - filename not specified!" in large friendly letters instead of...our corporate name, I think? I'm finding this hilarious. I may be a little punchy.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

The SPN thing happened right around the same time that probably fake Putin story dropped, so it got all mixed up.
