Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Buy something your neighbors would need to borrow on a similar schedule! Everybody wins!

That is brilliant, and thanks you guys! It's not that I want to be making any other plans for the weekend, but I just want to know what's happening. I need to go with the flow and accept my drink tickets whenever they show up.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

sarameg, congrats on the raise!

Little jillifonts I can deal with, big ones NOPE.

Vortex summed up what I've been trying to say about Kavanaugh. He disqualified himself with his behavior last week. The rest is moot, as least as concerns his nomination.

This morning I promised myself I'd start eating better. This afternoon I ordered a pizza and ate half of it. Is that Adulting, or Fail?

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Even aside from the sexual abuse stories (which, let's face it, aren't going to matter to a lot of people), he's been lying to the Senate committee. That's called perjury and should disqualify him.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

NYT has an article about how Trump used shady and fraudulent schemes to grow his fortune. Admittedly, I haven't read the full article. But...tell me something I don't know, NYT?

Our wings are not tired.

Apparently the detail exposed by the NYT of Trump's financial dealings is pretty extensive. I'm thinking Rosenstein might get fired just to distract people from talking about Trump's tax fraud. He's been holding that one off for good timing.

What is even happening?

What if we vibe at them, en masse, to influence them to dump Kavanaugh, in order to distract us from Trump's tax fraud?

I promise I'll be distracted.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I'm on hold with a transport company, trying to track down a wayward order, and the hold music was interrupted by ringing, but no one answered and the hold music came back. I feel like I am being tricked, somehow.

What is even happening?

That sounds tricksy to me, -t.

Hey everyone, in completely different news, do yourselves a favor and check out the Chris Evans As Golden Retrievers Twitter page.

Just Chris Evans and cute goldens in the same poses. Not a jillifont or a rapey SCOTUS nominee in sight.

Oh, I might be persuaded to do this.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Ugh, this day. My alarm didn't go off, so I woke up a half-hour late.(And only because the cat wanted breakfast NOW!) In order to get Mr. S to daycare on time I rushed my shower(and did something to a red mole on my chest to cause it to bleed) and didn't eat breakfast until I got to work. Got to campus around 8:25, and the parking garage near my building was full, so I had to park down the block. I've been breaking in a new pair of shoes, and the backs are rubbing the back of my heels raw. (The right one was bleeding.)
