I"m in the neighboring state, Damnit, I'm Hungry, But All Of My Food Seems Too Complicated.
Honestly, I would order something from DoorDash if I knew what I wanted.
I am somewhat frequently in those states, especially the "I'm hungry but food is complicated and trying to decide where to order from on a delivery app seems complicated plus then it'll take 45 minutes so I should just make something but so much effort..."
I had Der Wienerschnitzel for lunch, which was pretty disappointing but also quite filling (full disclosure, the mini corn dogs are kind of genius), so I might not need dinner? Or maybe a shake. We'll see.
I had KFC delivered today and it's good.
I have overordered ingredients this week (from the farmers market and a meal kit) so I made brussels sprouts with chorizo and potato soup for dinner. They were both good!
Y'all, my coworker said something today "from the internet" that I just read on tumblr. Let me never tell her I am also on tumblr.
I made butternut squash Alfredo sauce yesterday and had the leftovers on fettuccine for dinner tonight. Making it yesterday was a bit fussy, but today it was just reheat and pour on pasta.
Ended up with tuna melts.
I made honey mustard frozen-to-cooked salmon in the oven, and we ate it over salad. Easiest prep clean-up in a while, man. It was pretty good, too. The fish doesn't come out the prettiest ever, but the point is, I forgot to thaw it, so...
I did go with grilled cheese (gouda and provolone) with that Autumnal Harvest soup, which is REALLY good.
We had the rest of our sandwiches from last night, and I make a quick pink sauce to go with a little bit of pasta on the side.
I just put smoked gouda on my grocery list, so I can make these sandwiches, which sound amazing.
