Well, my days of not taking you seriously are certainly coming to a middle.

What is even happening?

Excellent addition, sj.

Thrive to spite them

I realized next week I have the day off after the election. I am getting my haircut next Wed. This is better than 4 years ago when I had to go to work and here people cheer and be excited about the outcome.

If we have 4 more years of the same there will be people at the store who will cheer and be happy. Luckily I don't have to interact with many of them

Smiling at the Impending Grandchild evening the score. Of course, they expect the grandmothers to take over child care when they go back to work since both grandmothers WFH. Too bad my house isn't childproof.

Is 5 the age when kids start to get mean? ltc has never complained about other kids being mean to her until this year.

Also, WHEN the Democrats take over they had better expand the courts, all the federal courts, including the Supreme Court. The voter suppression crap has to end.

I don't remember, sj. I just remember it being the worst when your child is picked on by other kids. Major mama bear mode in those days.

Ummmmm....wow. That's quite the expectation!! I mean it's great if someone can offer that, but...WFH does not mean "can take care of small child"! Much less "*wants* to take care of small child"! Hope they budgeted childcare.

Also, I feel like you can't have been that awful, if they were willing to live with you for long period of time! My parents could offer a free room and say they'd cook and give me a car to boot, and I still wouldn't take it unless I was completely out of other options and had no money!

Hopefully he's just stressed because of pandemic and impending fatherhood and will chill soon.

I am quite amazed at how many people I know who just assumed their parents would stay home and take care of their kids. Some were in for a surprise.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Unseasoned baked chicken with skin removed, baked potato, and applesauce for dinner. Feels good to get some calories in me. Now bed, work tomorrow. Bleargh.

Laura, my condolences on your younger son and his wife being so physically disabled that they're unable to wash a damn dish themselves and have to sit around helplessly letting it make them feel uncomfortable instead.

Diapers are not going to be kind to them.
