I realized next week I have the day off after the election. I am getting my haircut next Wed. This is better than 4 years ago when I had to go to work and here people cheer and be excited about the outcome.
If we have 4 more years of the same there will be people at the store who will cheer and be happy. Luckily I don't have to interact with many of them

Ummmmm....wow. That's quite the expectation!! I mean it's great if someone can offer that, but...WFH does not mean "can take care of small child"! Much less "*wants* to take care of small child"! Hope they budgeted childcare.
Also, I feel like you can't have been that awful, if they were willing to live with you for long period of time! My parents could offer a free room and say they'd cook and give me a car to boot, and I still wouldn't take it unless I was completely out of other options and had no money!
Hopefully he's just stressed because of pandemic and impending fatherhood and will chill soon.

I am quite amazed at how many people I know who just assumed their parents would stay home and take care of their kids. Some were in for a surprise.

Laura, my condolences on your younger son and his wife being so physically disabled that they're unable to wash a damn dish themselves and have to sit around helplessly letting it make them feel uncomfortable instead.
Diapers are not going to be kind to them.
