Ugh, -t. "Like heart surgery," is not a comforting phrase.
Continued lung vibes to Tim.
I am currently sitting outside the ER while DP is in getting assessed for things that might be causing his sudden onset edema this morning (feet and ankles). Called doc, saw doc, doc sent us to ER for scans to rule out a bunch of stuff.
He was not short of breath, which is good. I can't go in, of course.
He's keeping me posted.
Well, that doesn't sound like the best day ever. I hope the ER are able to help!
Thank you -- he is resting comfortably and sent me home. Is keeping me posted but no results yet, of course.
Yikes the "I can't go in" part sucks so bad--especially because when someone isn't feeling well and stressed out in the ER it's extra important to have someone else with you!!
I am annoyed at work but more in a general sense, and also at some specific people. Possibly related to the fact that I had a 630AM meeting today....and a meeting starting next week that is EVERY MONDAY AT 6AM. Fucking Europeans and global projects, damnit.
But at least tomorrow is Friday.
Stepdad fell off his bike today and banged up his shoulder, which he has had surgery on in the past because of pain. He's fine, but mom had to wait in her car for 4 hours because she couldn't go in.
Steph, tons of lung~ma for Tim.
JenP, tons of ~ma for your DP.
Health~ma for everyone!!!
Yeah, I've had urgent care and ER visits in the past few weeks and it's all solo travel right now. Pix dropped me off and then headed home to wait for me to call for a ride home.
I had to take M into the ER on the 4th of July - we just sat in the car & waited, but it still sucked.
Health~ma for everyone.
My heart breaks for all the loved ones and the patients that can't be together at the hospital. It is one of the cruelest consequences of this pandemic.
Also, I think I have aged several years watching this shitshow of a debate. Grateful it is the last one.
eta: what the hell laptop!
