Well, quite a lot of fuss. If I didn't know better, I'd think we were dangerous.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Unrelated to the reorg, I have spent ALL WEEK trying to get shipped the remnants of a TJ Maxx order that was supposedly returned to us as the original shipment was overweight. This has involved a lot of back and forth with at least two of their departments and today when we finally have all the ducks in a row I am told that no, we do not have that inventory after all, maybe TJ Maxx already got it. What?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I guess I am lucky with my dentist and my dental insurance and all -- it's all fine! Which is good because my teeth were a disaster in my teens/20s, and it was brutal. I assume this is because I had a bad childhood dentist, but most of my dental work (including crowns, root canals, broken teeth, etc). happened decades ago.

You guys, a friend of mine ordered boneless chicken breasts in her grocery delivery and instead got a whole spatchcocked chicken, and she put it in her crockpot, and I am so sad for her! But I'm trying to stay out of it because she thinks it's too late to take out of the crockpot. But she could have roasted it!!!!!

Oh, that is a missed opportunity! But slow cooked chicken will still be delicious, I'm sure

It will certainly be fine. Phew, I just feel better having gotten that out.

Yeah, you don't want to bottle that up but she doesn't need to hear it - another valuable b.org service

information libertarian

I cleaned my oven, something I am genuinely pretty sure I have never done before in my entire 48 years of life. I mean, I've moved a lot. Maybe mr. flea did it once.

I have SO MANY emotions about work and stuff. I've been not working for three whole months already and it's mostly fine? Income-wise we're fine? I started looking at jobs and thinking about applying and it's been making me super depressed. But then I also can't just stop working forever. Gah.

I can see that being a pretty complex place to be, flea. In general but maybe especially right now when everything else is so, you know, like it is

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I haven't been to the dentist since COVID and now I don't want to go until I have paid for all the work I had done when I broke my molar and all that. It's just debt that keeps piling up with every visit and not going for the visit doesn't seem that risky? IDK

As a long-time dentist avoider, I say do what makes you happiest. (Signed, was recommended for a gum deep-clean in Feb, didn't follow up until Covid made it too late, and now will honestly probably never get around to it.)

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I did make it to the dentist. They required masks (until I was actually with the dentist), took my temperature, etc., and scooted me in quickly since I'm in a vulnerable population. Went well; he commented that people seem to be taking better care of their teeth, either because they're stuck at home (by their toothbrushes) or because they wear masks a lot and, well, who wants to breathe in their own halitosis.
