There's a place that does great gyros near me, but they don't do fries. They claim "authenticity," which is cool and all but when I was in Greece, everyone served fries with everything, so I assume it's authenticity circa 1491.

Best rings are from Cincinnati's Big Boy franchise (Frisch's Big Boy), and after that, anyone's onion strings.

Yup. I just got off the phone with my dad, who said (among other things) that Trump is the one controlling Putin, Trump has kept Covid deaths down, and Trump hasn't done anything to harm women.
I want to believe it's the hallucinations, but no; he's just always been a bigot and I try to ignore that I was raised by someone who doesn't find people of my gender (who he refers to as "females") to actually be human. And, you know, also believes his own facts.

Burgers were pretty good, but the fries were disappointing. I think the place is a chain - The Counter. The best fries I've found around here are from a hot chicken sandwich place called Woo Boi. I can still get the fires (spiced waffle fries; so good), but I can't get the sandwich anymore, which is a shame, because SO good. But breaded, alas.
Oh, but I got a mint chocolate shake, too, and that was yum.
