Our wings are not tired.

Safe and smooth travels to you. Flying or driving? Or train, I guess.

We have to drive. DH will tow the boat and take the dog. I'll have two cats! Animals make travel other than by car pretty much impossible. We don't 'follow' each other as such, but catch up with each other at rest areas. I have to stop to charge my car every couple hundred miles or so (and have to go to the bathroom more often than that) and he has to grease the trailer wheels from time to time. I hope to talk him into two nights in hotels because although I love my car it does take some time to charge.

Matt, my DP laughs at my obsession with apartment/house porn, and we're not even really looking. I'm impressed with your five-year outlook.

DH and my son are always sending me house links! I do the same sometimes, but not as obsessively as they do.

I still look at Baltimore Real Estate ALL THE TIME. Hope springs eternal that more people I know will move here.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I look at houses all the time, but I have no intention of moving.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

JenP what is the final happy ending to your long medical Odyssey?

JZ sends me about eight real estate listings a day, but in fairness I just sent her this place which is a perfect storm of price, location and vintage-detail: [link]

Our wings are not tired.

Real estate prices away from my Florida area are amazing to me. My (now NY) son is looking to buy a house here in central NY probably next year because you can easily find a 3/2 for about $85,000. He has to survive a winter here first. Anything near me less than $500,000 is either a tear down or in a terrible neighborhood. My son in FL moved about 90 minutes north of me to find a townhouse they could afford.

I'm watching the confirmation hearings in a 100% partisan method whereby I utilize my large time buffer to FF through all the GOP and listen to the Dems. I do not apologize. This is where I am at.
