I work in the children's department of a library. THREE YEAR OLDS KEEP THEIR MASKS ON.
I have several pairs of joggers. Lighter than sweatpants, which are usually heavy fleece. My joggers are more modal material or thin jersey knit. Hella comfy for Second Summer.
Joggers are basically sweatpants, but I find a lot of them are (a) very thin material (I don't need heavy sweats, but want basic) and (b) often have that banded ankle and are short. I want "comfy lounge around the house and cover my ankles but can also run outside with the dog and have my phone in my pocket" pants (need bottom to be elastic somehow, so I don't get them wet this winter) (the banded ankle is not a dealbreaker, but not really what I was hoping for—I feel like we all used to have a few pairs of these with a college or sports team on them??)
ltc are much better at keeping their masks on then most of the older male population I see around town.
To brighten your afternoon (at least where I am it's afternoon), this came across my screen.
I'm honestly grateful that the latest FB design update was such a nightmare, because I'm spending way less time on the site now!
Same. I was never a fan of FB to begin with, and the redesign makes it unusable.
Relatedly, I saw a post on Tumblr along the lines of
"Oh shit, what if everyone's parents discover Tumblr and join, like they did with FB?",
with many horrified replies. Kids, do I have some news for you about the actual age demographics of Tumblr ...
Kind of, the lurkers will ground you on Tumblr?

I've already threatened to ground some of them, and told Ticky that if I find her on Twitter/Tumbler, I won't tell her parents, but I Will Have Words with her.
Toddson, that was wonderful!
The panda? I thought it would be nice ... and so nice to see a gender reveal that doesn't involve anything overwrought (or exploding ... although DC's had enough rain that the danger of fire is minimal).
