"How did it get so late so soon? It's night before it's afternoon. December is here before it's June. My goodness how the time has flewn. How did it get so late so soon?"

Good luck with the dentist, Calli. I found one nearby with good reviews that I need to check out. I love going to the dental school, but it is over an hour each way in heavy Fort Lauderdale traffic and just too time consuming.
My nephew was 2 (or almost 2) when I started hanging around here. He'll be 19 in a couple weeks.
Remember how old Holli was when she started posting? She's on Tumblr talking about being a fandom old, and she's
not wrong.

Thanks, y'all. Everything went well enough. Getting ones gums poked with pointy implements is never fun, but nothing dramatic was uncovered.
The dentist looked half my age. Sadly, that did not make him look too young to be a dentist. I could have lived without hearing "a little gum recession is normal as one gets older," but where's the lie.
Hooray for no drama!
One of my coworkers randomly baked a cake for me - she was making pineapple upside cake for her brother and saw the recipe for "my" cake on the back and figured while she was baking she might as well. So nice!
I really feel like cancelling direct-to-customer orders so we can move inventory into the outlet sale is dumb. Above my paygrade, though, apparently.
The food section - possibly a week later? - had an article about one family that has regular potato latkes, sweet potato latkes and I think there was a third option. Since I'm not planning to make any version, I kind of skimmed over it.
In other, non-food, news, I saw a video of a school in Alaska during their recent earthquake. Kids reacted perfectly - immediately went under their desks, the teacher talked them through it, once the quake stopped he told them they could text their families to let them know they were still OK, but to stay under their desks. Seemingly, they have drills for this. I was impressed.
