"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Makes me think he's really sick.

He's had heart palpitations and fever up to 103. He wouldn't be getting an experimental drug if he weren't at least Moderately sick.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Omg did y'all see that Harrison brought his own plexiglass screen to the debate with Graham?!?!?

Thrive to spite them

I've been watching clips of the debate -- Harrison is not letting up on Graham at all. Graham called Democrats nuts and Harrison started his response with saying the first thing you do if you want to work with someone is not call them nuts... and on something else he pointed out that Graham has only sponsored 3 bills that became law in 25 years.

I did! And he totally schooled Graham in the debate.

There was no way I thought we'd be competitive in SC, but it's neck and neck right now.

I was curious and looked up Graham's last election. He won easily. In the polling he was up by something like 16 points.

He and Harrison are pretty much tied.

The last Democrat to hold this seat lost in 1956. And the last Democratic senator for SC was voted out in 1966.

I escaped reality for a few hours watching Call the Midwife—I read the first book many years ago but never got into the show. But I'm digging it. Soothing. British. Old timey. Doesn't really require following super closely (because my attention span and cognitive abilities are minimal right now).

But it did make me want to hunt down Plei and make her teach me how to do my hair like the main character. Except sadly doing my hair that way would not magically make me look like her and be slim and wearing lovely 50s skirts like her either!

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Is it migraine season?

According to my body, yes.

I realized I forgot to donate blood on Friday, as I planned. I'll see when can I fit it into this week's schedule. The health system is in crisis, there's shortage of blood donations due to COVID, and I'm a universal donor. So it seems like the thing to do.

Coffeed and did the Sunday crossword online with my DP (Dear partner - is that a thing?) Now to shower and go to Aldi, yay, Aldi. My productivity plan for the day is to bag up a crap ton of clothes for donation.

Good on you, Shir.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I admit to hoping when I woke up there'd be news that Trump died. Not that I'm all that happy with 'President Pence' but at least you're trading up when you go from a rabid dog to a poisonous snake.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Now to shower and go to Aldi, yay, Aldi.

Check the cheese section for their seasonally festive Halloween-themed cheeses! Out of 6 varieties, I bought 2 yesterday, which I think is exceptional self-control.
