Angel: I appreciate you guys looking out for Connor all summer. It's just—he's confused. He needs time. That's all. Fred: Right. Time, and some corporal punishment with a large heavy mallet. Not that I'm bitter.

What is even happening?

That was fantastic, Consuela. I bookmarked it to read it again, when I'm not so tired.

(I'm not really being nice to Trump, here; I'm just shit-talking my dad.)

This was also fantastic, Teppy. I laughed like a drain.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I feel bad for the reporters. I heard a report 3 tested positive.

What is even happening?

I heard 1 (per Yamiche Alcindor, whom I believe). I've seen three on Twitter, but just from people, not reporters.

Do you remember where you saw that, sj?

Then there's this:

"City of Cleveland announces 11 positive cases of COVID-19 stemming from preparations for presidential debate" [link]

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I thought on MSNBC but I think it was "rumored" when I heard it.

What is even happening?

I have the repeat of Maddow on. She just said three reporters.

I'm seeing Chris Christie tested positive, but nothing I feel confirms it, yet.

(He was certainly exposed in debate prep, however.)

Dear Lord, please protect Joe Biden and Jill.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Of course I can believe they were that stupid, but I CAN'T BELIEVE they were that stupid.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Of course I can believe they were that stupid, but I CAN'T BELIEVE they were that stupid.

Apparently they believe their own bullshit.

Thrive to spite them

I want to go on Twitter and find any account trying to blame Dems for this or anyone else and troll them with "Trump (or whoever) should take personal responsibility..." And "why should my tax dollars go to pay for their healthcare? I should have to pay for someone who can't take personal responsibility...."

And there is an official Tweet from Twitter about how any tweet saying anyone should die or wish bodily harm or whatever will be removed because they don't allow that. Which is BS because they do. So I want to find all the maga assholes threatening people and screenshot it and reply to that asking why it hasn't been removed.

Although there seems to be some rumors that some of the super rich donors Trump met with after he was exposed/tested positive (not sure which) and wasn't wearing a mask etc are super super pissed at being put at risk.
