'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Yikes, Cass! I'm so happy that your instincts and muscle memory kicked in when they were really needed. Part of survival is luck, but it's also hitting the sweet spot between freezing up and flailing about.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I'm glad you're okay, Cass.

AmyParker, I am so sorry about Jim's brother.

shrift, considering the tax issues in the news right now. HA! Barf! Glad you put someone on that.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I GOT MY BALLOT!!! And I might be able to drop it off on Thursday, since I have taken the day off (dog surgery) I am excited. No sticker though. I think I will investigate I Voted! pin options out in the world.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Hugs to all who need/want them.

Got my flu shot today. I'm lucky that I can get one at work for free, even if I had to schedule it this year.(as opposed to previous years when it was walk-up)

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Woo, msbelle's ballot!

Yay flu shot!

I discovered yesterday that the bagelry closest to me closes at 1:30, too early for me to pick up dinner but I thought I might be able to sneak out today for lunch or even breakfast but I just got the chance for a meal break now, so not today. Alas. Maybe tomorrow.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Hey fellow olds, can someone explain "folx" to me? I understand "folks" as a general term, but why the x?

Our wings are not tired.

Got me, Jesse.

Sorry about the missed bagel opportunity, -t.

Yay for ballots and flu shots.

Yes, I am going to watch the debate tonight. With my sister, and wine. It will be super painful, but I have to do it. If you don't hear from me tomorrow I may be non-functional from overexposure to Trump.

IIRC, it's supposedly more gender neutral than "folks".

I look more rad than Lutheranism

"Folks" with an -s doesn't seem gendered. Weird.

I would rather eat glass than watch any debate that POTUS is participating in.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I think it's meant to show intentional non-gendering.
