I hope you don't think that I just come over for the spells and everything. I mean, I really like just talking and hanging out with you and stuff.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Also, I have library books out for the first time in yonks, but my local branch just closed for renovations and the temp space isn't open on weekends. Annoying! Not that I can't get to the main library, but it's much less convenient.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Wow, I called the pharmacy, was on hold, then it rang for a long time, then someone picked up the phone and put it right back down to hang up on me. Happy fucking Monday to you too.

Our wings are not tired.

Good news, good news, bad news. I'm going to go to Otter Lake late Thursday night, they are expecting 30" of snow exactly when I am landing, going for my cousin's funeral.

Excited to see all the snow! My sister will pick me up at the airport with boots, and jacket, and all that stuff I don't even own. Even Syracuse where I land shows 30" expected, so my only concern is not being able to land. Syracuse is really good at handling that white stuff though so I think it will be okay. My sister will also be able to drive in it without issue, but getting in near midnight when they are calling for that amount of snow is kinda tricky.

Yikes -- good luck with all of that!

I've just found another relative (?) I don't know -- Jon M. Mylastname copied me instead of himself on some HOA policy documents.

Because books.

Hancock is usually pretty good with snow, Laura, but 30" is a lot. Stay warm! And drive safe! And I'm sorry about your cousin.

The local computer place tells me the only way to fix the less-than-a-year-old computer that keeps freezing and closing is to replace the hard drive with a solid state. Which will cost more than the computer did. Hello, Monday.

No way I am driving. I've lived away from snow for nearly 40 years. Mona is used to it. Worse case I'll spend the night in Oswego at my niece's house and drive to Otter Lake in the morning. Playing it by ear though because a weather forecast 3 days out up there is about 5% accurate, as I am sure you recall, Amy!

Also, checking my news feed reminds me that dink Cheney is still alive. How is this possible?

eat: totally leaving that typo there

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Was it a typo or was it your Good Place extension?

Because books.

I just mostly remember that between November and March there was a good chance of snow every day. I do not miss it.
