Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Jam!

Or something else consumable.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Does GrubHub have gift certificates?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I really should be getting stuff done today, but I can't bear it. A little online shopping and some laundry is going to be about it for me.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Mr. S woke up crying at 3 this morning, and ended up sleeping in our bed the rest of the night.Yeah, I'm tired.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Instant pot? Crock pot?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I really should be getting stuff done today, but I can't bear it.

I just forced myself to answer an email that I was supposed to do by Thursday last week.

It was excruciating.

::sigh::

Now I have to do All The Laundry.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Instant Pot is a good tiny-kitchen gift.

It was cold and rainy today so I stayed in my jammies and made doughnuts. It was a good day.

Our wings are not tired.

I've done some stuff. Made veggie chili, a bit spicier than intended, but that is fine. Went to Joann's, which was fairly annoying. Then bought a Christmas tree. Looked at the fake ones and decided we would revisit that idea after Christmas and maybe get a nice one on sale. The kids may come by later to take the boat out to look at intracoastal decorations.

People were taking holiday photos in the park today. Lots of props, looked like a pro setup. Anyway, the little kids in their holiday dress up clothes were super cute. (from far enough away that I could not hear any complaining or fussing)

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Tim discovered mold on the back wall of the pantry, under the bottom shelf, behind where we had stashed about 8 BILLION paper Trader Joe's bags. (Guess what mold really likes? Did you guess "paper"? You win!) So he threw out the bags and attacked the mold with white vinegar (works as well as bleach but less toxic in a small poorly ventilated space), while I ran errands, which included the impulse purchase of a Wonder Woman t-shirt at Meijer (BTW, Meijer is literally Food And Stuff from Parks and Rec).

Now our whole house smells like we're dying Easter eggs (this reference only works for people who used the Paas egg dying kits). Also, you'd better believe I bought Damp Rid in bulk at Meijer to put in the pantry to prevent future mold incursions. And also we'll start using reusable bags at Trader Joe's, so we don't bring home so many paper bags.
