Ack, Zen! No further breakage! Are you going to the doctor soon?
I had an appointment with the surgeon last Monday and I FORGOT. So mad at myself. But I rescheduled, so I'll see him in two weeks. Leg's not hurting real bad anymore, so maybe it's okay.
I can't sleep at night anymore either. I sure can sleep all day, though.
I decided to pay a monthly fee and give up all my privacy to get 2 TB of Google Drive storage
I'm probably going to do the same, for the same reason.
Zoe is acting 100% normal this morning.
Yay Zoe!
Continuing ~ma for your roommate, Theo.
oh, mac, please straighten up.
Pretty much everything that is important on my computer is kept synced with my private cloud. The rest gets backed up to my NAS which has redundancy but, you know, doesn't do much good if the house burns down or something. What I would like to do is have a NAS at my parent's house and the two could back each other up, but haven't taken that step yet.
Sorry Mac is being such a forking jerk, msbelle.
I'm guessing my filter changed this, but still a valid sentiment.
Gud, how are you doing?
Yes, you have been on my mind a lot, particularly with my Zoe issues.
Here's hoping that mac comes down off his high horse. Alas, some mistakes you have to make for yourself before the lessons stick.
Work is insane today, largely because of people. I hate them. People.
However, capybaras are the best: [link]
Grr. Had annual review with my boss this morning which was basically like "you're awesome and you're doing awesome and moving on to the "opportunities" section, if you want a promotion at some point, you'd need to take ownership of (tasks that are not my job and I've been told not to do and I wouldn't have time for)". And I was like "so, there's no chance I'm being promoted this year? And you can't be clear about what it is you think I'd need to do to be promoted?" (It's a title change, not an actual job description change). And I know folks who've been promoted after two years, and I'm about to hit three and she's saying well maybe next year at 4 years in. And I'm pissed.
Timelies all!
Sigh...just found out the kids activities for ages 3-5 on the cruise ship require full potty training. Mr. S isn't quite there yet. Now we have to figure out what to do with him on the days we're at sea.
