There are so many people I want to respond to but I have been reading over a few days and not posting and I don't quite have the patientce to truly re-read and meara, but
I feel that!
That sounds awful, Katerina. I'm sorry. At some point it may make sense to stop trying to help.
Wow, Toddson, good for you for going through and dealing with all that stuff!
That sounds promising for M, askye. And fingers crossed for your mom's friend.
Also, oh no! The Rock, and his family are Covid positive.
They were sick and are recovering! Phew.
Good luck, Gud! You are clearly very skilled in the right stuff!
Wasa crackers, goat cheese and bluebarb jam are the best I can do for lunch today.
That lunch would work for me. I had chicken fajita soup that was really quite tasty.
Toddson - yeah I remember the unpacking-and-organizing phase of getting into the new apartment - at least your CD collection wasn't tromped flat by firefighters! I mostly handled it by saying "I will do ONE BOX and take a break," although I occasionally found myself inspired to start on the next box instead.
I treated myself to Popeyes for lunch today but it was disappointing, treat wise. I don't know if they've changed or I have but it's just not seeming as delicious as it used to. Alas. But maybe secretly a good thing, I dunno.
Anyway, lunch, I had some, so that's good.
Yes, I try to do at least one box in the evening, can manage more on weekends. I'm upset that they managed to break some things and stole some ... I haven't finished unpacking my jewelry, and I'm afraid they stole some rings (and I'd mainly be upset that they stole one - with a tiny diamond - that gets passed on to daughters on their 17th birthday); I can't wear them any more because my knuckles are swollen and my fingers got fat, but this was from a company with a five star rating.
Oh, Toddson, that's a shame. Those movers really betrayed your trust.
Toddson, Maria, and Cass - I am sorry. It's a lot to handle. I wish things were easier. A lot of ~ma to all of you.
And in-another-post: We are entering a heatwave of 34-42 Celsius degrees until Tuesday. I do not have A/C at home, and looks like a lock down/curfew will start on Monday because COVID. I am not excited by this.
And I should start thinking on Rosh Hashana and how to celebrate it this year.
I can't quite believe it's already almost time for Rosh Hashana, wasn't it just Pesach a week or two ago? This year, man. Incomprehensible.
