Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Maria, I know it's a shock, especially what with everything else going on. But 7.9 is not bad - I once went to a group meeting with a dietician - under the auspices of a local hospital - where people were talking about A1Cs of 12 and higher. That's not too far off the non-diabetic score. I take Metformin - and I hate the taste ... put me off food for a while ... but I got my A1C under control.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

They wanted mine at 90 fasting but that was for pregnancy.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Once again I was woken up too early by Nova. I don't know what her problem is, other than being a cat.

Because books.

The what now?! That's crazy. Then again, my last kid was born 16 years ago, so maybe things have changed.

Ann, that's a ferret.

I don't know what her problem is, other than being a cat.

That's all she needs.

Coding and Sleeping

Well, that was quick. There was one question that stumped me, but the dude said I did phenomenal, so that seems good.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Way to go, Gud

My groceries were ready early, so I decided to go on my "lunch break" and now that I'm back it's pretty much time to stop working...I did get a lot done today around all that...

Now tagless for your comfort.

Great job, Gud!

Maria, I'm hanging around 7.4 for my A1C. Not great, but not HORRIBLE. They just doubled my Metformin.

It might help if I stop drinking alcohol and eating carbs.

Speaking of making lunches. I made myself a lovely tuna sandwich with lettuce, tomato, and spicy mustard and I LEFT IT ON THE COUNTER.

So I had Taco Bell nachos. Not my best back up plan.

I've been craving Taco Bell nachos, but there is no Taco Bell nearby. I'm also craving a bunch of things from Trader Joe's, but they're the only market not delivering.

Librarian Warlord

Laura: Tracked down my aunt and she says Shannon's Unshelled, and that the Boothbay Lobster Wharf is good, too. (Great view there, also.) There's always Red's Eats when you drive through Wiscasset. Say hello to my childhood for me! I used to jump off the footbridge at high tide. Safe travels.
