Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

And, because it deserves its own post, best wishes to Maria.

Toddson glad you got it back, hope it wasn't too much cash!! I realized yesterday that I can't find my ID—usually it's in the little card holder on the back of my phone, but it is not. I have no idea where it could be, whether I took it out for something and didn't put it back (seems unlikely?) or if it fell out at some point (more likely—I feel like I've dropped my phone a bunch lately, it could've slithered out then) Luckily can order a new one online but until it comes hoping I don't get pullled over!!

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

A very young woman at a place I worked years ago used one of those big things - the ones that hold cash, your checkbook and all your cards and ID - and she either had a pickpocket take it or it fell out of her purse. Meanwhile, she was in the office with no cash and no way to pay for anything. One person went out and bought her lunch and others chipped in for her trip home and back in the next morning. I took this as a lesson, so I carry everything in separate cases, keeping the case with my ID and cards buried at the bottom of my purse.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

I'm ok. Will update with more later.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Glad to know you're okay, Maria.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Glad to hear you're okay, Maria.
