Now, I can hold a note for a long time...actually I can hold a note forever. But eventually that's just noise. It's the change we're listening for. The note coming after, and the one after that. That's what makes it music.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I know no one cares (and rightly), but I am watching a documentary about high school theater awards, and this one high school has the most obnoxious adults. Talking passive-agressive smack about another high school down the road that did the same show.

"They probably thought it was the best high school show they'd ever seen, and it was, but they didn't come see ours."

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I wonder if Gud would find anything useful here: [link]

Wow, that's ridiculous Dana!

I did eventually fall asleep :) probably got about six hours when normally I'm an 8-10 hours girl. But maybe that just means I can sleep tonight.

Same dude, when his school was nominated for 16 awards and only won one:

"I don't want to say there's a conspiracy against us..."

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

My beautiful new boots are too tight across the forward part of my foot if I put my lifts in them and not quite cushiony enough to keep my tendinitis in check with no lifts. Sadface

Punishingly Intricate

Are they leather, -t? If so, look into getting them stretched.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

It is indeed an infection, but surgery has only been moved back to 12/14, which is much less further out than I had feared.

If all goes well, she should be out of in-patient cardiac rehab by Xmas.

Backups: I got a Carbonite account, and have migrated through two computers now, so it's been worth the yearly fee for sure. Having had external hard-drives go bust on me, I'm more than happy with the thought of off-site automatic backup, which is incremental, so it's only hard the first time.

"Vegan leather", lisah. I might try getting them stretched anyway, they feel like they are stretching a little just from being on my feet.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Speaking of vegan leather, I'm surprised the vegan shoe store near me closed, but they seem to still be open as a website, so maybe they decided the rent was too damn high, and people would be able to find them? Not that I ever bought anything there myself, mostly because they never had my size in the styles I was interested in.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Mac slept through school today and has decided he does not want to be in my house any More. He has packed or is packing bags and leaving. I have his car offsite and it is no longer driveable (battery out).

So that's happening. Maybe we'll get all this out and not have to do it in 9-12 months when I was expecting it.
