This isn't a come-on. I'm in a very serious relationship with a landscape architect.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

And anybody else who needs inarticulate hugs. Much love and care and well-wishing included.

Thrive to spite them

Teppy I think you are doing the right thing 100%. I know we (society) tends to have this view that it doesn't' matter what your parents did you are still supposed to be there for them but that idea is super fucked up especially if your parents have hurt you.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Plus, you have yourself and Tim to take care of. No one has endless capacity.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Teppy, you need a break and your brothers should help you find someone to help your dad. It should not be on you just because you're nearby.

And I hope to god your brother gets the guns out. That's just... awful and terrifying.

JZ and family, I'm so sorry to hear about the fire but I hope everything works out ok.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Steph, lots of health~ma to your father and may you be able to step away from it. Let your brother(s) take care of him.

And oh, poor ltc! I'm glad she's doing better now.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Tep, others have said basically the same thing, but you need to take care of yourself. Is there something you can do for yourself now, to give yourself a little mental cushion while you look for a patient advocate?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Much darker at 6 am this Tuesday compared to last Tuesday. Not too pleased about that.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Jesus christ on a pony, this morning. First I woke up three separate times from a nightmare where I got laid off and panicked because my benefits didn't start until the first of the month, so we weren't eligible for COBRA.

And now, the lawn guys are outside doing something for the complex, the result of which has been AN HOUR of weed whacker tree trimmer whatever outside.

None of that is right and proper.

Both offices open again today. How today is different from yesterday I don't know.We have not been told to communicate to the customers that the warehouse is resuming shipping, which is kind of good because I'm still trying to finish following Target's instructions for the closure...we sure get in our own way a lot...

Owwww. I have a migraine. But also the puppy. And can't call out of work, because my coworker is out and I'm covering for her too. And cleaning people coming in a few minutes. Owww. I am not a happy camper. (Especially because I already took my migraine meds a couple hours ago when I first woke up)

Also also....I let the puppy out of the crate around 1am, two or three times because he kept barking. Finally he hushed after I put him back in the crate the third time. I was very relieved. I woke up at 5am with a migraine and tried to not wake him when I went into the bathroom....and turned around and THERE HE WAS. Apparently that last time when he quieted down it was because I hadn't closed the crate well enough and he slipped out!! So now I'm terrified of what he may have been doing for those four hours. Eating things he shouldn't? Ruining stuff? Secret poops??
