Zoe: Preacher, don't the Bible have some pretty specific things to say about killing? Book: Quite specific. It is, however, somewhat fuzzier on the subject of kneecaps.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Gud, I'm sorry for your loss. They give us so much love, but they just can't stay.

Laura... yeah, it sucks to have to prepare yourself and family for what may be coming for Zoe.

~ma, meara.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I wrote him a whole long email tonight. He needs to make some decisions about next year and I tried to spell it all out for him. I also told him that anymore drug use or any more failed classes and he would have fewer choices in front of him. I'll be getting him info on all the armed forces shortly.

Now I just have excess rage energy running though me with no outlet. Nothing online is holding my interest.

Because books.

Maybe try turning your brain off for a little white with Candy Crush or stacking cats or something? I'm sorry you're so frustrated.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I'm sorry, msbelle. I hope he figures it out and soon.

msbelle, I have excess depressed energy. Lets trade.

I did manage to make a salad. But damn my wrist hurts. I think I will take some of my oxy (thank god I have some) and/or sleeping pill until morning but then. I have to work again.

I feel like just when I was starting to have this broken ankle thing down, I get shit on again and life gets harder

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

I'm sorry, meara. That is so incredibly frustrating. I hope you can get some good rest tonight.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Snowy/icy/slushy sidewalks added a whole new level to the tendonitis-in-the-ankle thing this morning. Oof.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I feel like just when I was starting to have this broken ankle thing down, I get shit on again and life gets harder

That's so enervating. Even a bad sprain hurts a ton so even if it isn't broken it's a lot to deal with.

At this point in your recovery you've used up a lot of your emotional resources so it's understandable that you're feeling low. Do what you can to save energy for yourself, and lay low and keep it simple for a bit.
