So it's a relief to have the car stuff behind me but my car insurance went up again so it's now $200/month.
I know I need to figure out if there is anything I can do to get it down like a defensive driving class but I am not up to figuring that out right now. I'll wait until next month. Just only so much I can deal with at one one time. Or maybe next week.
I on vacation this week and that is yay. Double yay is M's mom is house sitting so we have the place to ourselves until Sat
It's been so nice not having the extra drama and yelling.
Car insurance is a drag. We're footing the bill for both kids (18 and 21) until they are more on their feet and it really adds up with younger drivers.
Elsewehere in Greater Camberville, somebody had the Madonna stolen out of their front yard.
I'm not Catholic, but that seems like a good way to get yourself cursed.
TCG has a meeting tonight so it is pizza/movie night for ltc and myself. It's my turn to pick the movie. I'll have to figure out a good one she hasn't seen yet.
Well done, Matt!
Enjoy your vacation, askye! Yay having the house to yourselves!
The sky has that eerie quality it gets when there's a lot of smoke in the air. The nearest fire to me is the other side of a pass and the other side of the 80 so I feel pretty safe, but some of my friends are having to evacuate. I do not like fire season.
Well, I wouldn't want to antagonize fire at this point, but...
Oh this is lovely: it's already hot and now the air is full of smoke. If I close the windows I'll roast. If I open them and turn on the fan I'll poison myself. I've had too much already. Can this please let up for awhile?
